Many of out talented women today do really need more time to move out of paid employment (... here I'm only referring to only those who are dissatisfied with their present occupation and willing to strive for excellence in their chosen business venture)  since myriads of them consider it as a tedious venture.

Recently, an acquaintance I met on the internet proposed to me to review a business plan and later to be part of the business by providing the necessary funds for expansion and always get ROI ( Return On Investment) of $100 dollars monthly. 

Wow! isn't it fantastic?

The business plan happens to be an existing poultry firm which I knew nothing about and promised to manage the business since he has a poultry with over 250 birds and harvest  9 crates of egg per day.

Well, the idea sounds great and tempting, but really is this advisable? 

Lifebelt of Excellence

Many world class businesses failed and more will still do without the lifebelt of success and Excellence.

This pit fall could have been avoided if only business owner and entrepreneur interested in pitching your tent beyond now.

Where Are The Entrepreneurs?

I live in Nigeria - the most populous country in Africa with estimated population of 140 million people.



In other words, there is a lot you can achieve in this environment, I believe the wealth and riches lie in the below formula:


People= Market


People= Wealth


Wealth= f ( Opportunities, Market and People)



Now You see what I mean... but the focus of this article is that I am yet to find enough entrepreneurs to take the advantage of the hidden wealth and riches in our Country.



I discover that we have power issues... are you out there with an alternative cheap power supply?



The business world is rapidly transforming into global market and everyone needs at least a laptop and Internet connection. However, Internet connection charges is rather on the high side for most of us and almost not affordable by all.

People eat everyday and anytime I need to eat I realize money would have to exchange hands and that is another indication that you can come up with your own recipes - simply ensure it meets with daily dietary requirements. 



The opportunities are innumerable, but all I observe everyday is that people keep complaining and wining that there's no job, no money no head way.

Wardrobe Investment and Strategies: Dressing for Success

  

Wardrobe management is Undeniably a key success dynamic in business. If it weren't , nudity no doubt would be prominently figure more in the business and corporate society.

Being cloth often gives you an mammoth leg up on those who don't, but it is more important for wise entrepreneurs and business minded ones to learn the strategic dressing techniques. This is what makes the difference between a career in the fast track and one in the breakdown lane.

Appropriate dressing and understanding strategic image management is a vehicle for self expression. Fashion designers and apparel  managers knows this and they continually thrill us with combination of materials for proper self expression and confidence building.

In succeeding in business there is need for you to have a clear understanding of the environment in which you will be dealing and the ability to fit perfectly into it is also of paramount.

“Birds of a feather flocks together goes the saying” since you will appreciate and want to deal with one that looks more like you without being threatened or intimidated. You must understand that the business environment is complex with variation in beliefs and values in other word take time to know your customers and their belief and values .

Dealing with the corporate world:

Your wardrobe must consist – Black, solid navy blue or grey suit, or occasionally pinstripes for touch of splash.  

Shirts – this may be of any color as long as they are blue or white ( this is only conventional as it’s suits almost every situation.) Ensure that your cloths are neatly pressed before wear.

T-shirts and jeans are allowed today ( ensure your jeans are clean and not the crazy ones)

Ties – this should be understated patterns or rep stripes in colors that appears in nature.

Shoes – black or dark brown and well shined. If possible avoid foot wears with stacked heels, buckles and double- tone designs.

Please Avoid white belt, white shoes and the combination of a brown belt and black shoe. On the contrary ensure that you always have the same color of belt and shoes.

I cannot but wonder and ponder when I meet with talented ones whose rare kinds of gifts, oftentimes if they could only explore them carefully with dexterity then dumbfounding excellence will be in their grips.


I was working with some young folks recently at a congregation filled with hundreds of creative ideas. But one thing took me aback when the first young man I over heard just kept complaining that there was no job and that with all he knew I could not do anything.


I slowly walked towards  him and inquired why he looked so worried and again he started complaining about how the environment has been unfair to him and how nobody needs his skills and how things would never work for him and he went on and on... wow! quiet pathetic isn't it?


Having allowed him to unburden his mind. I asked him just one question, What solution do you have to offer the world?

I found out that most industrious and world change- agents are just the ordinary people like me and you , they live and tolerate others who fail to see the oak tree within when its at seed.

I cannot even imagine even if I try nothing seems to be seen in his imaginary world to paraphrase the words of Ben Carson in his is book The Gifted Hands.

The same Ben without the ability to imagine eventually became the best neuron-surgeon and even the head of the department at the John Hopkins University.

I walked into one of the local fast food restaurant after a busy day just for  a bottle of soda and relax before I set for home.

I sat down after I placed an order for a popular soda drink and regale myself with the musicals from a cable channel. I was excited... (by what ? ... I thought I heard you say that) when I saw customers after customers streaming in to do the same after settling into a comfortable seat, place their order and without any double checking on a particular bottled drink, they just open the cock and downed the content.
